Jim Sertich serves as our Portfolio Management and Trader. Jim is responsible for all client trading and portfolio reporting. As a member of the investment committee, Jim works on the firm’s broader investment decision-making process. He is passionate about investments and finance and is pursuing his CFA charter.
Prior to working at North Berkeley, Jim worked at Bridge Portfolio in Chicago in the role of trader and portfolio analyst. He also worked as a portfolio analyst at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco.
After ten years of living away from the Bay Area, Jim moved home to be closer to family and friends and is uncle extraordinaire to his nephew and niece. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, especially for local teams.
